Brixton Acid City – Celebrating The End Of An Era

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce our favourite London club, Brixton’s 414 will be shutting at the end of this month. After many high court battles and prolonged legal proceedings, the time has unfortunately come for this world-renowned supporter of Acid Techno to finally close its doors.

The founders Tony and Louise have resided at this important nightspot for decades, and their connection to underground music has provided a platform and base for London’s music community to survive and thrive throughout this time.

The super friendly security team and amazing bar staff have always done their best to make party people from around the world feel at home once they entered the premises – it was our South London home from home.

Tony, Louise and everyone who worked at 414 became our family over the years as they truly cared for every person who walked through the doors of their iconic nightclub. The 414 spirit is so strong, it will endure as it is part of the character of the team, so we fully support the 414 crew in any projects they decide to undertake in the future, as they’ll always deliver that positive energy wherever they go. The 414 is not a place – it is a state of mind.

If you’ve ever graced their dancefloor before, or if you’ve never had the chance, please make sure you put everything aside to come help celebrate the end of an era, and give the 414 the send-off it rightfully deserves on May 24th for their last ever Acid & Techno event – Brixton Acid City.
